The Philadelphia Cultural Fund is seeking volunteer panelists for the 2017 Art & Culture peer panel review process. Our strength as a community grantmaker is exemplified by the dedication of over 100 volunteer panelists who serve annually. Members of the Greater Philadelphia arts and culture community are encouraged to apply to serve as a panelist—arts administrators, artists, higher education professionals, advocates, movers and shakers we’re talking to you! The Cultural Fund supports diversity both in our grantees and our panelists. We encourage applicants of all ages, races, genders, sexual orientations, and artistic disciplines to apply.

Peer Panelist service:
- requires a time commitment of 30 to 40 hours
- begins in October and runs through December 2016
- includes orientation, reading between 8 and 18 applications, conducting one or two site visits, and one full day of panel service

The Philadelphia Cultural Fund is a non-profit corporation established by Philadelphia’s Mayor and City Council in 1991 to support and enhance the cultural life and vitality of the City of Philadelphia and its residents. The Fund promotes art and culture as engines of social, educational and economic development in the Philadelphia region. Grants are made from the City budget allocation to the Cultural Fund for operating support of Philadelphia-based arts and cultural organizations.
