GRANTS for the ORGS SHAPING PHILLY ART and CULTURE

Grant Programs
PCF provides unrestricted, general operating support to Philadelphia-based art and culture organizations.

Through multi-year funding and fixed-size grants for all recipients, PCF supports long-term organizational health and challenges practices that have too often constrained organizations’ ability
to grow, build capacity, and plan for the future.

Tempesta di Mare

2027-2029 Art and Culture Grant

The Art & Culture Grant provides general operating support over the course of 3 years to 501(c)(3) or
fiscally sponsored organizations working across artistic disciplines and/or cultural practices throughout Philadelphia.

PCF defines art and culture broadly: art as the expression of creativity, and culture as the shared experience of traditions, histories, values, and environments.

Funding for the Art & Culture Grant is provided by an allocation from The City
of Philadelphia. This allocation, approved by the Mayor and City Council, provides the crucial funds for this grant program. Our fixed grant awards and budget thresholds are then determined yearly, dictated by the amount of funding we
are allocated by the City to award.

Award amounts will begin at $10,000 in 2027 and may vary each year based on PCF’s funding allocation from the City of Philadelphia.

In addition to financial support, recipients will receive access to capacity-building workshops; covering topics such as organizational development, financial planning, and marketing, as well as a capacity-building stipend to invest in an initiative of their choice, helping to strengthen their long-term impact and sustainability.
